Ely Alderete is married with six children. The
members loan money she got from the DREAMS Bayanihan Project coupled with
her ingenuity and creativity has resulted in her successful cottage diaper
factory. Also, three of her neighbors are enjoying fruitful employment
due to customer demand.

Norita Naong is in charge of pressing the diapers at
the cottage diaper factory of Mrs. Alderete. The project helped a lot with
regards to augmenting the otherwise meager income of her family.

Arnel Arnake is married with one child. He is a
grateful member / loans beneficiary of (A.F.A.M.C.O.) Acacia Farmers
Multi-Purpose Cooperative. He used his members loan to purchase
pesticides, fertilizers and other things that he needed to improve the
yield of his cut flower business. Currently he is producing 10,000 -
12,000, cut flowers, and is considering expanding into vegetable
production upon approval / receipt of his third loan from the cooperative.

Arman Arbapo is married with three children and is a
owner operator of a passenger Jeepney. With his A.F.A.M.C.O. members loan
he was able to have the engine of his Jeepney overhauled and the body
repaired. He is back at work providing fellow Davao citizens
transportation to work and home again.

Auria Medina, who is married with four children, runs
a small roadside store. Her AFAMCO members loan enabled her to
expand into the retail fruit business.

Co-operative member, Myrna Debalocos used the money
she got from the D.R.E.A.M.S., Bayanihan Project to purchase bamboo. She
creates ka-bob skewers from the bamboo sticks which are used for
barbecues. Her extended family is now happily employed in the
production and marketing of some 10,000 skewers a day. Myrna is marketing
her bamboo ka-bob skewers regularly in the local markets. The entire
family is very grateful to the sponsors of the D.R.E.A.M.S. project, who
made their improved livelihood possible.
